Physics Honors students study the fundamental laws that govern our world. In the first semester we study kinematics, dynamics, momentum, energy, gravitation. In the second semester we continue our study with electricity, magnetism, waves and geometric optics. Algebra and trigonometry are used throughout the course. Students will combine their knowledge of physics and math skills to solve challenging problems. Physics students perform hands-on laboratory investigations including using electronic/computerized sensors.
